— Founder
AUDIENCE
ECOSYSTEM
“It was born out of the health information needs of underserved populations: youth, women, patients from peri-urban and rural contexts.”
— Product Lead
The primary objective of the project was to understand the health information seeking journeys and unmet needs of chronic patients and their carers that are currently underserved by health systems, with a focus on delivering verified information on medicines, condition and self-care through an intuitive, personalized, and anticipatory platform in the post-diagnosis or post-prescription phase.
Medwiki is a consumer-first health knowledge platform offering trustworthy, bite-sized, multilingual videos to empower chronic patients with accessible information — to improve decision-making, reduce anxiety and uncertainty, increase self-efficacy, and improve adherence.
